dear *christ* - whatever drama went down at shooterz notwithstanding, this whole venue transition thing is a fucking godsend. saturday the 12th: v.a.s.t? lords of acid? please. slutty fashion show and a fog machine on steroids? can i get an amen in this piece? i hadn't rocked out that hard in a long time.

does anyone know what the hell is up with the Flame? why was it like old school hip hop in the front room and (packed) industrial in the back. Please someone say that its not going to be like that this weekend ::crosses fingers:: it would be such a let down. (although i have to say that seeing people in latex and black duct tape trying to grind was rather amusing) -

Mon, April 11, 2005 - 7:22 PMthe music in the front room is to make the regular Flame patrons happy, but hopefully it will transition over to 80s and electro eevntually. I DJed one night in that room with the other DJ that had the hip hop and radio classics and I was playing 80s and electro stuff. I really dont know what will happen but hopefully it will eventually be mostly 80s and electro in there. Next time at the Flame I'll be playing in the back room and my main style will show!
